This Welsh chapel was converted to a dwelling in the 1970s by the artist, Anthony Brandt, and the current owners act as custodians for many of his works. They have extended the dwelling and Fiona Cloke Associates has redesigned the extensive gardens to provide a varied series of spaces to suit the family.
A realigned driveway and parking have freed up a large garden area which is viewed from the house and adjacent terrace. A long curved herbaceous border and gravel path lead to the summer house while a smaller circular space provides a setting for one of Brandt’s sculptures. Further phases are in progress.
